The release notes describe changes to Storefront for this release, including new features and enhancements. In addition to these changes, Instacart continually updates the platform to improve accessibility, performance, and stability and to ensure the best user experience for your customers.

New features​

The following new features are available in this release.

Digital coupons page (Storefront Pro 5)​

If you are integrated with Inmar, a third-party coupon provider, you can add a digital coupons page to your storefront. Customers that are logged in or have a loyalty ID associated with their account can use the page to discover, clip, and redeem coupons to save money.

The following example shows a digital coupons page:

Enhancements​

Custom Attributes rule for dynamic collections (Storefront Pro 5)​

You can now create dynamic collections based on custom attributes that you provide in your catalog. For example, if you identify products that are locally sourced with a “Local” product tag, you can create a collection to pull in all products with that tag.

The following example shows where to define the Custom Attributes rule in Instacart Platform Portal:
