2023_08_0 Release Notes

The release notes describe changes to Storefront for this release, including new features and enhancements. In addition to these changes, Instacart continually updates the platform to improve accessibility, performance, and stability and to ensure the best user experience for your customers.

New features​

There are no new features that are available for both Storefront and Storefront Pro.

Enhancements​

There are no new enhancements that available for both Storefront and Storefront Pro.

Storefront Pro 5 capabilities​

The following capabilities are available for Storefront Pro only:

Dietary preference rule for dynamic collections​

When creating dynamic collections, you can define rules to add products based on dietary preferences, such as Vegan, Keto, or Gluten Free.

The following image shows the Dietary preference rule in the Instacart Platform Portal Collections tool:

In-store shopping context​

Customers can add items to a shopping list and plan their shopping trips before going to the store. Customers can also use the in-store context to view in-store prices and promotions, clip coupons, and find the product location within a store.
