Catalog and products

A catalog is a list of products that you can sell on your storefront. This includes selling on both Instacart Marketplace and on your own e-commerce sites. An accurate catalog is the foundation for providing a good customer experience. Your catalog determines the product information that customers see on the storefront and organizes products into the appropriate collections.

Instacart also uses your catalog to help shoppers who can't find an item. Shoppers can suggest a replacement item from your catalog.
