Ads

Ads give you instant access to advertising demand from over 1800 national CPG brands. They are designed to be highly relevant and fit seamlessly into your existing content. Ads can generate incremental orders and unlock new shopping journeys without sacrificing the delightful shopping experience your customers are used to.

The number of ads that appear can vary based on the user, shopping context, and item relevance. Ads also become more personalized as a customer shops more on your storefront.

Ad formats

Ads come in different formats:

Sponsored products are individual items that customers can add to their cart. These items might show up in a dedicated sponsored product carousel, in collections, or in product grids intermingled with other non-sponsored products.

Sponsored products can appear on the following pages:

  • Homepage
  • Search results page
  • Collections page (including departments and aisles)
  • Product details page
  • Buy it again page
  • Checkout aisle recommendations page
  • Replacements page
  • Post-checkout recommendations page

Display banner ads

Display banners ads are banners that give advertisers a bigger surface area to tell their brand story.

Display banner ads can appear on the following pages:

  • Search results page
  • Collections pages (including departments and aisles)

Shoppable ads

Shoppable ads include both dynamic content and direct add-to-cart functionality. Dynamic content can be a video, an image, or an animated gif. If an ad includes a video, the video starts playing when more than 50% of the ad is visible. Videos are muted by default and customers can click the volume icon to unmute.

Shoppable ads can appear on the following pages:

  • Homepage
  • Search results page
  • Collections pages (including departments and aisles)
  • Discovery feed of an order status page

Coupon ads

Coupon ads are similar to the physical brand coupons customers get in the mail that can be used at any retailer. With coupon ads, customers get access to brand coupons on your digital storefront. Coupons appear on the applicable item tiles.

note

Retailer-defined promotions take precedence over coupon ads.

The following images show examples of coupon ads:

  • Single-unit coupons provide a discount on one item.
