Drive awareness campaigns

This capability is available with Storefront Pro 5.

Create a non-incentive campaign to raise awareness for various initiatives, such as promotions, contests, and rewards programs. For example, you might want a time-bound campaign to advertise your loyalty rewards program and link out to a rewards registration page.

By default, these campaigns appear for all customers and apply to all regions. You can choose to target customers and regions to participate in the campaign. For example, you can target customers by email address, loyalty membership, having fewer than five purchases, or shopping at a specific store group.

The following example shows a campaign to encourage users to sign up for an Instacart+ membership to get free delivery. The campaign displays in the second slot on the page.

On the second slot of the homepage, a banner creative displays that advertises free delivery for Instacart+ members.

Configuration

To configure a drive awareness campaign to display on the storefront, use Instacart Platform Portal.

Campaigns can only display on your storefront by assigning the campaign’s creative to a dynamic slot. The following high-level steps explain how to add a drive awareness campaign to your storefront:

  1. Insert a dynamic slot to your homepage. For more information, see Manage your custom homepage.
  2. Create the campaign and assign the creative to the dynamic slot. For more information, see Manage drive awareness campaigns.
