Promotions
A promotion (also called an offer or a deal) is a discount on an item or on multiples of an item, such as buy-one-get-one (BOGO) promotions. Promotions are active for the time period that you set. If you have a loyalty program, you can target some promotions to loyalty customers only.

Site changes
In the cart, when the promotion's conditions are met, the item price is struck out and the discounted price is shown above in a different font color.

The cart total takes into account the discounts from retailer-defined promotions plus any other discounts, such as CPG coupon ads. On the checkout page, the discounts subtotal also includes both retailer-defined promotions and other discounts.
