Post-checkout recommendations

After the customer selects replacements or confirms a pickup, a post-checkout recommendations page opens. Recommended items are presented in collections that are automatically generated. Customers can optionally add items to their cart and then click Next to finish the checkout process.

The Instacart recommendations service uses machine learning to generate the collections. The collections can include popular items and items the customer has previously purchased but are not in their cart. For more information, see Recommendations.
