Cart

Customers build their cart by adding items while browsing and shopping on your storefront.

Customers can open their cart in the following ways:

  • Clicking the cart icon in the header on desktop browsers
  • Clicking the floating cart icon above the bottom navigation in native apps

Cart details

Customers can view the following details in a cart:

  • The cart tracker, which shows progress toward cart-level offers, such as cart discounts and free delivery.
  • Items with a thumbnail image, product name, quantity, and price for the quantity.
  • Promotions with conditions, links to eligible items, and applied discounts.
  • Suggested items, which are recommended because the items are commonly purchased with the items in the cart. For more information, see Recommendations.
  • The total savings on items in the cart.
  • Subtotal, which takes into account all applied discounts.

Cart actions

Customers can perform the following actions from the cart:

  • Change item quantities.
  • Remove items.
  • Add instructions, such as selecting a replacement item or adding notes.
  • Add recommended items to the cart.
  • Go to checkout.

Buy one, get one (BOGO) offer

When a customer makes a purchase with a buy one, get one offer, the items and pricing appear in the cart with the first qualifying product showing the full price and the free item showing $0.00.
