Retailer single sign-on

Single sign-on enables your customers to securely use the same user credentials to log in to all your surfaces, such as your retailer mobile apps, web app, and retailer corporate website. Your Instacart representative works with you to integrate your identity provider with the storefront.

The storefront directs customers to a form hosted by the identity provider. The identity provider attempts to verify the customer's identity or leads a new customer through a registration process. If the customer is authorized to use the storefront, the identity provider returns the customer to your storefront with an access token.

The following image shows an example of a log-in form and a sign-up form hosted by a retailer's identity provider:
