📄️ Order Status page
The Order Status page is a web page where your customers can see real-time updates while their orders are being fulfilled. The page shows the list of items in the order, a map, the shopper's name, and other delivery details.
📄️ Certified delivery flow
When orders contain high-value items, customers must sign for the order before they can take possession of the items. The certified delivery confirmation page enables your customers to confirm the high-value items and then sign for the order. For more information, see Certified Delivery.
📄️ Replacements flow
Good item replacements are an important part of the customer shopping experience. With the Order Status page, the shopper can suggest a replacement item and the customer can approve the suggestion or ask for a refund. The customer can review changes from the Shopping in progress or the Review replacements status.
📄️ Chat
Shoppers and customers can exchange messages while the shopper is picking items. The shopper uses the Instacart Shopper app as usual. The customer uses the Order Status page from their browser or mobile device.
📄️ Pickup flow
When an order is ready for the customer to pick up, the retailer notifies the customer and provides a link to a Ready to pickup page. The Ready to pickup page includes the order status, list of times, pickup time slot, store address, and a link to the pickup instructions. For a curbside pickup, the page might also include a link to a vehicle information page and a way for the customer to indicate that they are at the store.
