Simulate orders

Simulate orders to test fulfillment workflows and verify whether the fulfillment workflow meets your needs. For each order, you can choose to automatically simulate the entire order or manually simulate each order status change in the workflow.

If you simulate the entire order, the Fulfillment Testing Center automatically moves the order through the entire fulfillment workflow and sends the associated callbacks for testing. For example, for a delivery order, the Fulfillment Testing Center automatically simulates confirming the order, starting the shopping, completing the shopping, delivering the order, and then completing the order.

If you simulate each order status, you manually trigger each step sequentially to ensure that each step in the workflow is correctly implemented. You cannot move backwards, skip steps, or stop a manually simulated order.
