Troubleshooting

If you are not seeing the results you expect during testing, review the following troubleshooting tips.

No retailers appear in the store selector

Instacart filters out retailers that don’t have at least 40% of the ingredients available. If no retailers are displayed, it could be due to low availability in a region or poor ingredient matching results. Double-check that the ingredient name is clear. Ingredient names should be similar to search terms. Don't include weight or quantity information.

No ingredient match is displayed for a selected retailer

A missing ingredient can mean that a retailer doesn't stock the item or that the item has low availability at the store. Try selecting another retailer.

No product quantity is displayed for an ingredient

The unit of measurement might not be supported. If the unit of measurement is not in the list, the product is returned but the quantity doesn't appear. Verify that the quantity is in the list of supported units of measurement.
