This changelog summarizes the updates and enhancements made to the Shopping Widgets. The most recent changes are listed first. Unless otherwise noted, changes are non-breaking changes.

September 9, 2026

• Added support for displaying collection names in the Collection widget. You can now display a collection's name as a heading above the product grid by adding a slot="title" element inside <instacart-collection>. The widget fetches the name automatically and writes it into the element's text content. The heading element, its tag, and styling are fully controlled by you. Omitting the element leaves the widget unchanged and makes no additional network requests. For more information, see Display the collection name.
• Added the hide-view-all and view-all-custom-link attributes to the Collection widget.
• Added the Side navigation widget (<instacart-side-nav>).
• Added the Fulfillment toggle and dropdown widgets.

December 8, 2025

• Restructured navigation. Updated the sidebar structure for improved discoverability. The new organization follows a more logical flow: Overview → Get started → Concepts → Widget Libraries → Changelog.
• Enhanced overview page. Updated the Shopping Widgets overview page with accurate links to all documentation resources, including tutorials, concepts, and widget library references.
• Improved widget descriptions. Added clearer descriptions of available widget types (Auth and Profile, Cart, Search Bar, Collection) with specific use cases for each.
