Pickup flow

When an order is ready for pick up, an order status page shows the Ready for pickup status. This page includes the order status, list of items, pickup time slot, store address, and a link to the pickup instructions.

For curbside pickup orders, customers can provide vehicle details, enable location sharing, and indicate that they're at the store. If location sharing is enabled, the store location is automatically notified when the customer arrives.

Customers can also share their pickup order with a delegate who picks up the order on their behalf. For more information, see Pickup delegate.

  7. The storefront assigns a store associate to run the order to the customer or delegate's vehicle.

  8. The runner verifies the order and brings the ordered items out to the customer or delegate.

  9. The customer or delegate receives the order.

The order status changes to Order complete.
