Get started with Storefront Pro
Existing Storefront retailers can upgrade to Storefront Pro at any time. Reach out to your Instacart representative for more information.
If you’re a new retailer starting with Storefront Pro, use the following steps to get started:

Ensure that you are set up on Instacart Marketplace. For more information, contact your Instacart representative.

Create mobile apps developer accounts for Android and iOS. For more information, see Mobile apps.

Contact your Instacart representative to request a Storefront Pro site.
After contacting Instacart, a representative will guide you through the onboarding process. You will work with a team of skilled individuals to ensure your Storefront Pro site meets your retail needs. You and the team will also use our self-serve tooling in Instacart Platform Portal to configure and manage your Storefront Pro site.
Gather site setup information
During the setup process you are asked to provide the following information around your requirements:
- Branding assets. You can manually configure the brand colors, logos, and icons for your Storefront Pro site, or import configurations from an existing website. For more information about branding assets, see Branding.
- Domain setup. Choose to host your site with Instacart or with a custom domain. If you’re using a custom domain, you’ll need to provide the URL and CNAME.
- Fulfillment. Specify the fulfillment types that you want to support: delivery, pickup, and in-store.
- Identity. Specify which identity provider you're currently using to sign in customers. Our teams will need to confirm we can support your existing configuration.
- Privacy. Provide details on your privacy policy.
- Customer experience. Answer some questions about what your customer experience should be like. See the following links for more information:
- Customer payment options. Determine if customers can pay with venmo, paypal, apple pay, EBT/SNAP or not. For more information about SNAP EBT, see SNAP EBT.
- Legal information. Provide information about the following:
- Custom terms and conditions for customers
- URL for customer support
- If your store sells alcohol or other prohibited products
- Name to appear on customers’ bank statements
- Email configuration. Provide email addresses to be used for customer communications.
- Cart and Checkout. Determine the Cart and Checkout experience for your customers. Follow the links in the form to learn more about each feature.
