Marketplace offer types

For Marketplace, Instacart supports simple offer types on baskets through Instacart Platform Portal. Instacart also supports item discount offers through promotions in the catalog inventory file.

Basket offers​

Instacart supports the following marketplace offer types:

Item offers​

You can create offers with item rewards by defining promotions in your catalog inventory file. For more information, see Catalog promotions.

The following image shows an example of a Buy any 3, save $4 offer:

Shows an offer on Good Measures bars. There are two flavors to choose from. In the cart, three items are added and the $4 off is deducted from the items; the regular price is struck through and the discounted price is displayed. The cart total includes the discount. At checkout, the $4 off is deducted from the item subtotal, with the original subtotal struck through and the discounted total displayed beside it.
