Privacy policy and terms of service

Your web app must communicate Instacart's Terms of Service (ToS) to customers. However, don't publish the ToS directly in your user interface (UI). Instead, you should link to them from an easily accessible location on a checkout page or existing fulfillment disclaimer.

tip

Best practice is to place the ToS link on the page where customers schedule their order.

If it's not possible to provide a direct link in your UI, discuss other alternatives with your Instacart Solution Architect. For example, you might be able to display the linked ToS within an iFrame so that customers can read them without having to leave your web app.

The text in your UI should be similar to the following:
