Customer notifications

If your customers opt in for SMS messages, they can receive the following messages during delivery or pickup workflows. If you want to customize the messages for your use cases, contact your Instacart representative.

General notifications​

  1. This notification is not sent for last mile delivery orders.
  2. This callback is used for last mile deliveries only, not full service deliveries.
  3. The order details specify whether the order can be left unattended.
  4. This callback can be built on the retailer side. If the Delivered callback is not received for the order, the order has not been picked up.
