Using credits in Ads Manager
Credits are dollar amounts applied to your campaigns to offset ad spend. You can view your available credits, check how they've been used, and apply them to campaigns directly in Ads Manager. Credits are only available to advertisers on invoicing. They aren't available to advertisers using credit card billing.
-
View your credits. To see all credits in your account:
- Click your profile icon in the top-left corner.
- Click Settings (gear icon).
- Click Credits in the Settings menu.
The Credits page shows:
- Account credit balance. The total dollar amount of credits available across your entire account.
- Credit history table. A full list of your credits with:
- Credit name
- Status
- Credits available: The credit amount you can apply towards campaigns
- Total credit value: The full dollar amount of the credit
- Usage: The campaign(s) the credit is applied to. You'll see Not used if it hasn't been applied yet
- Expiration: The date the credit expires
You can filter the table by credit status to quickly find available or in-progress credits. Credits can span multiple invoices. In that case, each invoice date appears as a separate row in the usage table.

FAQs
Can I apply the same credit to multiple campaigns?
Yes. Credits can be split across multiple campaigns. The amount you allocate to each campaign can't exceed the credit's total value.
What does the credit status mean?
- Available. The credit has been approved and is ready to apply to a campaign.
- In progress. The credit is active and has been partially or fully allocated to a campaign.
- Used. The credit has been fully applied and spent.
- Expired. The credit passed its expiration date before it was fully used.
What are credit restrictions?
Some credits are limited to specific ad products (for example, Sponsored Products, Display, or Video). If a credit has restrictions, you'll see them listed in the credit details. You can only apply the credit to campaigns that match the eligible product type.
What if I need to apply a credit but can't do it myself?
Contact your account manager for help applying credits to your campaigns.
Where can I see how a credit affected my invoice?
In the credit details panel, the usage table shows the date each portion of the credit appeared on an invoice. You can cross-reference this with the Service Period dates on your invoice. For more information about invoicing, see Account billing and payment.
